More Uses for ToeSox

Are Wii fit?

Nintendo’s Wii Fit has mastered the combination of fun and fitness. With the addition of the Balance Board, video games are no longer just for couch potatoes. Everything from basic yoga to strength and cardio training is possible, all while playing games like hula-hoop, soccer, and skiing.

ToeSox with our patented non-slip grip are the perfect accessory when using the Wii Fit Balance Board. They provide extra security when doing different exercises and activites, all while mimicking the feeling of being barefoot. Forget dragging out a large yoga mat, or trying adding a silicone cover to your balance board…when you get sweaty during your workout those become slick and hazardous, all you need is ToeSox.  Click Here to get yours.

Wear your ToeSox with MBTs or Skechers Shape Ups!

The positive effect of the MBT is based on the principle of "natural instability".  By simulating walking barefoot on soft, uneven, natural ground such as sand or moss,  MBTs force the body to maintain its natural balance, thereby stimulating and exercising the body's supporting muscle system which results in numerous pro-body benefits.

Shape-ups also feature a unique soft kinetic wedge insert and dynamic rolling bottom to simulate walking on soft sand. With the comfort of Shape-ups, you will feel your heel sink to the ground as you step, roll forward as your weight shifts to its center, and push off with your toes. This movement will result in stronger leg, buttock, back and abdominal muscles as you stabilize your steps.

ToeSox ergonomic design follows the contours of your foot to create a second skin. Our five toe design allows the entire foot to perform naturally and freely, encouraging the toes to separate thereby activating the muscles in the feet.  ToeSox increase dexterity and tactile awareness while wearing your MBTs or Shape Ups.

Tension

To counteract years of tension, some preliminary exercises can help your feet come alive and respond more readily to the demands of standing poses.

1. One good way to restore proper tone to the sole of the foot is to step onto a tennis ball. After waking up your feet with the tennis ball, it’s a good idea to stretch both the sole and the top of the foot.

2. A simple way to stretch the underside of the foot is to kneel with the toes turned under.

3. To stretch the top of the foot, Virasana (Hero Pose) is invaluable.
