Barefoot in ToeSox for a Cause

April 9, 2010 – It’s not your typical day at the office as you study how the employees of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce are dressed - hair done, business suits on, and… no shoes. On this day the Carlsbad Chamber chooses to go barefoot in ToeSox while supporting ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES. Thursday, April 8 marked the third annual TOMS Shoes event, encouraging everyone to walk in the shoes of a child in need by going ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES. The event incites participation via blogs, photo posts, and barefoot events.

Pencil Pick Up

" Place a pencil on the floor in front of you at the same angle as the toes on your right foot, with the point on the pinky-toe side. Stand or sit on the edge of a chair with good posture and put your weight into your heel. Fan the toes out and wrap them around the pencil. If you can pick up the pencil, try to write your name with it on a piece of paper."
