ToeSox is proud to currently support Beagle Freedom Project, a 501(c)(3), through sales of Kathryn Budig's Hot Pink ToeSox with Grip. Beagle Freedom Project’s mission is to rescue beagles used in animal experimentation in research laboratories and give them a chance at life in a loving forever home. The first rescue in 2010 was two Beagles. In November of 2011 BFP rescued 40 beagles.

Breast Cancer Research

At ToeSox, it’s important to support breast cancer charities, while also helping those who support the cause. Sales of Pink Cocona ULTRA Sport ToeSox currently go back to Susan G. Komen through donations to Komen 3 Day for Cure Walkers. In 2011, ToeSox has donated to 50 3 Day Walkers to help them reach their $2300 minimum fundraising goal.

In a partnership with Soles4Souls and Clothes4Souls, ToeSox has facilitated two Buy 1 Give 1 campaigns (in the last 2 years), that resulted in donating more than 1200 pairs of ToeSox to those in need. We love giving back!

Tension

To counteract years of tension, some preliminary exercises can help your feet come alive and respond more readily to the demands of standing poses.

1. One good way to restore proper tone to the sole of the foot is to step onto a tennis ball. After waking up your feet with the tennis ball, it’s a good idea to stretch both the sole and the top of the foot.

2. A simple way to stretch the underside of the foot is to kneel with the toes turned under.

3. To stretch the top of the foot, Virasana (Hero Pose) is invaluable.
